Founded in 2019 by Claire Ferandier Sicard and based in Monaco, ETYC is the first certification for superyacht crews committed to reducing their environmental impact. With over 8 years’ experience as a chief stewardess on board yachts, Claire has trained in sustainability to ISO14001 standard and holds a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from Cambridge University for leadership in sustainability.
With this experience, Claire has developed training, coaching and audits tailored to the yachting industry.
To take this a step further, and to help crews improve their environmental practices and EMS performance on board, we are proud to announce the launch of our new website, which will serve as a directory of sustainable solutions for yacht crews.
We understand the importance of transparency and credibility in this area and are committed to thoroughly vetting each solution listed to ensure it meets our high standards of sustainability.
Our aim is to provide yacht crews with easy access to efficient and environmentally friendly options and to help them make informed choices to reduce their environmental impact, based on what they have learned during ETYC training.
